BIBLE
1 Samuel
BIBLE MEMORY VERSE TEST:  FRIDAYS
MEMORY VERSE(S) & PICTURE(S) IN JOURNAL due on Thursdays (unless students are told otherwise.)

The Bible Memory Verses for the first few weeks of school are centered around the Code of Chivalry that
knights of the Middle Ages were expected to follow. I have adapted them to fit the Christ follower.

HISTORY:  Chapter 9 - The Rise of Towns and Cities - Notes, as assigned
www.ilike2learn.com is  a great website for the students to use to learn the countries and capitals. It is a
fun game, but tests skills at same time!

Pre-Algebra:  Homework, as assigned

Students are now in Book 5, working independently. 2 pages at a time. To ensure they are understanding
material as they go along they must have the pages checked before continuing. If a Student misses more
than 2 problems on a page or if 5 or more are incorrect on the 2 pages they will not be allowed to continue
until given permission by me. Tests and quizzes dates will depend on the amount of material each student
covers. They will be told in class, but this is difficult to pinpoint to a date on website as each are moving along
independently.

Science:   Chapters 7 & 8 (Schedule may be modified if additional review is need for preparation)

Daily assignment (section reviews, chapter reviews are assigned daily)

ART:   We have begun building castles as group projects

Computer:  We are on a typing program to learn basic Word Processing skills.
MEMORY VERSE:  Review Memory Verses - 1-30 - 2/3
Memory Verses: John, Chapter 1 - 2/6 - 2/24

7th Grade BBQ at Makua Lani - February 14, 2012
7th graders bring a dessert to share. Info is in the mail.
